Paige Bray

MISS RODEO DRAYTON VALLEY 2023

Paige Bray was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She fell in love with horses at the age of 5. Her passion for the rodeo community grew as she got older, and by the age of 14, she received her first horse from her supportive grandparents, who always encouraged her to pursue her dream of becoming a horse trainer.

In 2018, Paige graduated from Western Canada High School and decided to continue her education at Lakeland College, where she enrolled in the Western Ranch and Cow Horse program. Here, she learned the basics of horse training and developed a love for the western way of life. In the same year, she also participated in her first ranch horse competition at the college.

Paige graduated from the program in 2019 and returned to Lakeland College in 2020 to pursue her studies in Equine Science. She won the top hand award in a ranch horse competition in the same year, which solidified her love for ranch work and roping. In 2021, she ventured to Clyde, Alberta, to gain more knowledge in horsemanship and the western way of life, specifically in the sport of team roping.

In 2022, Paige moved to Edmonton, Alberta, where she pursued another passion of hers and received a diploma in personal training in just six months. She began working at a gym to help others achieve their fitness goals while continuing her work as a Day Manager at a Joey restaurant in the city.

Paige currently works for a performance horse trainer in Clyde, AB, where she is learning to achieve her dream of becoming a successful horse trainer while fulfilling her passion for horses and desire to be a part of the rodeo community. Her dedication, hard work, and love for horses continue to inspire those around her.
